I’ve been in private practice for more than 35 years, Â working with individuals, couples, and groups dealing with depression, stress, anxiety, loss, meaninglessness and spiritual confusion.
From 2001 to 2011, I also served as a psychologist at Oakdale Psychological Rehabilitation, a trauma clinic serving people suffering from the aftermath of a severe motor vehicle accident–both physical and psychological pain.
Earlier in my career I spent six years as a resident psychotherapist at the Southdown Institute, a multi-disciplinary clinic that specializes in treating Catholic Priests and Religious Sisters.
I worked with clients individually, and facilitated a wide variety of therapy groups including art, dance, psychosynthesis, and meditation groups.
My years of practice have reinforced my belief that effective counselling needs to attend to every facet of the human condition—physical, cognitive, emotional, social and spiritual.
